Guidelines for submitting an URL - please read carefully!

AltFanDragons.org is an international directory of web sites with Dragon content. Read more about this site here. Whilst we would like to make this a large database of sites, the basis of this directory is to be as relevant as possible to the world of Dragons - and as helpful as possible for visitors using it. With that in mind, we will not accept sites that are either:

• of poor quality (lack of content, lots of errors)

• offensive (racist, abusive, pornographic, promoting illegal activities)

• lacking in dragon content (sites that have no or very little dragon content, or are just home pages with a couple of adopted dragons)

What are we looking for then? Browsing our existing categories will give you a good idea, but here are the basics:

• sites containing original artwork, poetry, research or essays

• dragon RPG sites

• dragon art sites

• sites advertising dragon conventions and other events

• shops selling dragon-related goodies

• home pages of dragons

Please do not submit mirror sites (same content, different URL). Mirrors will almost certainly be rejected outright. Please check your details before submitting. If your details are incorrect, your application may be rejected by the system. When your application is accepted, you will receive an email with a site reference that you can use in the editing area to view and edit your site details, should you wish to change the site description for example. Keep in mind that the character limit for site descriptions is 450 characters and that our search feature will look at the descriptions for keywords. HINT: make your site description as relevant as possible - please do not include HTML tags.
